Crappie Fish is by far the tastiest fish I’ve eaten. It is a fresh water fish and large schools can be seen swimming in the freshwater bodies in United States and Canada. There are two species of the common crappie: the black crappie and the white crappie. The fish can be differentiated by the distinguishing color patterns on their body. While the black crappie is covered with gray or black spots, the white crappie has vertical lines of gray. The black crappie can be found in clear waters while the white fish lives in murky waters. Crappie fish can grow up to 17 inches in length and a full grown crappie fish can weigh as much as 1 pound.
